How to Use Advanced Backlinking Strategies for Free Traffic

Download
I’ve covered bum marketing with you, so in this lesson, I’ll give you a couple of advanced backlinking strategies.
You can use MUCH more powerful websites for backlinking than just social bookmarking sites and web 2.0 properties.
We’ll discuss a couple of these strategies in this lesson!

First of all, if you’ve been looking into link building to your websites, you’ve probably come across the terms ‘dofollow’ and ‘nofollow’.
So what are these?
Basically, a ‘nofollow’ link is a link which Google robots do not crawl, and therefore, a ‘nofollow’ link will NOT add link juice when linking to your site, which means it does not help it raise higher in the SERPs.
There has been controversy that nofollow links still pass on SOME juice, though quite a lot less than dofollow links.
Personally, I say, go for the dofollow links
! After all, whether the rumors are right or wrong, there is one that thing people have agreed on… Dofollow links are TOP NOTCH!

Download
Welcome to your next affiliate marketing lesson! I’m guessing if you’re still here, you’re probably here for the right reasons.

Which means, I hope, that YOU did your homework!

But just in case you had an emergency, like your leg or arm falling off, and you having to rush to the hospital, I’ll cut you some slack and tell you that you should do your homework now before you continue on to the next lesson.

And if you have done your homework, than it’s time to learn about our next exciting topics, namely, SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages).

Simple enough, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is when you optimize your website in such a way that major search engines like Google, MSN and Yahoo find it attractive, and rank the website higher in the search listings.

The most-targeted, and the longest-lasting traffic always has and always will come from Search Engines. If you learn the basics of SEO to complement your affiliate marketing skills, I promise that you’ll never go hungry as long as you have a laptop and an Internet connection.

Guess who’s going to teach you these basics?

But just before that, let me define SERPs, for they go hand-in-hand with SEO.

Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs), are the listings of pages returned to you when you search for a keyword. Meaning, when people talk about their “high rankings in the SERPs”, it simply means that they have websites that have high positions for the keyword they target.

So, do you understand how SEO and SERPs go side-by-side now?

The more you optimize your website for any sort of keyword (SEO), the higher you’ll rank in the major search engines (SERPs), which of course, will mean more traffic to your sales pages.
